Brenton,

Thanks for sharing. My takeaway is that we should not compare ourselves to guys like Gary - that is sure to be a frustrating exercise. Rather, take pride in knowing there are a few specific things that you do way better than Gary...maybe way better than almost everybody. Best of luck out there, I appreciate you stopping by!

Gary is an inspiring nut to watch. He's a true testament to doing your own thing. The point he makes about focusing on our strengths is so true, but it's very easy to compare ourselves to others (like Gary!) and feel less than they are. Helping people see and believe in who they uniquely are has become a critical priority not just a nice idea. Thanks for the great interview!

Brenton

High five, right back at you. Love your definition of crushing it...well said! Also, I did check out your Daily Booth page - pretty cool, the site offers a unique way to communicate. I'm interested to learn more.

Ryan,

My definition of crushing-it is going out there and not only listening to your brand's audience, but ACTING upon what you hear. Showing you care, engaging in conversation, building relationships. And doing it every, single day. It's something I am also very passionate about as I build my personal brand, so thank you for this post!

High-five on the blog. Glad I ran into it today.
Annie

P.S. I agree with Gary about DailyBooth...I have made my strongest, most personal networking connections with that platform. A pretty powerful statement. Come say hi! http://dailybooth.com/anniesorensen

Have you seen twitbooth? Its similar in that you can take photos using your webcam, but more integrated with twitter as it uses your twitter profile and social graph. http://www.twitbooth.com
